Ajman: The Emirate of Ajman is centrally located on the western coast of the U.A.E., a short distance from Sharjah, representing the northern flank of the (Dubai-Sharjah - Ajman) metropolitan area. Ajman was the birthplace of the University in 1988.

  1. J1 Building

The total built-up area is 19680 m2.

This three-story, U-shaped building has two main entrances and four secondary entrances allowing fully gender-segregated access to campus for male and female students.

Two side-wings of the building are designated for teaching facilities. Service facilities are located in the middle part of the building.

J1 Facilities:

Educational and teaching facilities, accommodating the Colleges of: Dentistry, Pharmacy & Health Sciences, Law and Education & Basic Sciences in addition to the Institute of Environment, Water & Energy.

  • J1 building accommodates 25 lecture halls and 23 specialized laboratories.
  • The building provides 132 offices for faculty members.
  • 8 teaching and consulting dental clinics are located in the middle part of the building both on the ground floor and the first floor with designated lobby and entrances for outpatients.
  • Several services facilities are available such as: cafeterias, supermarkets, photocopy center and a prayer room.
  • Medical clinics are located on the ground-floor.
  • The building also accommodates the Alternative Medicine Center.

2. Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Building (J2)

The physical structure of this building is a state-of-the-art architectural piece with the flexibility to enable the rapid development in information technology provision and to support developments in teaching and research.

The total built-up area is 35370 m2.

This three-story, U-shaped building has two main entrances and four secondary entrances allowing fully gender-segregated access to campus for male and female students. Quality architectural design and fine detailing highlight the interiors. The lobbies are spacious and naturally bright because of the three-story atrium and glass wall elevations.

Two side-wings of the building are designated for teaching facilities. Administration Offices and other service facilities are located in the middle part of the building.

J2 Facilities:

Educational and teaching facilities, accommodating the College of: Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, Information, Mass Communication & Humanities, and University Requirements & Academic Counseling.

  • J2 Building accommodates 56 lecture halls and 56 specialized laboratories.
  • The building provides 204 offices for faculty members.
  • Admission & Registration and Finance counters are located in the main lobby.
  • Administrative and Financial Affairs offices are located in the middle part of the building both on the first floor and second floor.
  • Several services facilities are available such as: a food court, supermarkets, a photocopy center, university relations, and student housing offices. They are located on the ground floor and first floor.
