Fine Arts Carnival

Student’s Affairs Department at Ajman University of Science & Technology has a special section for the art lovers called the Fine Arts Department. It is quiet popular amongst the students who have special hobbies related to arts.

Recently it organized a “Fine Arts Carnival” held on the beautiful garden at campus. The weather took a turn towards winter and this added the much needed inspirational aspect for female students from all the Colleges at Ajman University to come outdoors and enjoy the carnival.

The place was abuzz with creative energy and energetic music as the 200 female students took part in painting, drawing and coloring. They used many mediums like water and oil paints, chalk, graphite, pastels and all to express their talents. The main aim of this carnival was to discover the hidden talent of students and encourage them by giving a platform at their own University.

The 100 students’ whose work of art was selected by Ms. Mona Al Jabali, Supervisor, Fine Arts Department were presented with gifts and mementoes. She explained that these students have shown exceptional talent through their art and they pose the potential to hone their skills and take it up professionally.
