Crown Prince of Fujairah attends graduation ceremony at Ajman University in Fujairah

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, has commended the fundamental role that higher education institutions play to nurture capable generations in order to keep pace with the technological revolution.

He attributed the success of these institutions to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who support education and scholars.

He noted that the University of Ajman for Science and Technology has named the graduation batch "Thanks Khalifa," coinciding with the 10th  anniversary of the accession of Sheikh Khalifa to the presidency.

The Crown Prince made the remarks during the graduation ceremony of 559 students of the 2014 batch of Ajman University for Science and Technology, in Fujairah.

Sheikh Mohammed underscored that Ajman University "is one of the higher education institutions that contributed to intellectual, scientific, economic, cultural and social development nationwide. It has been supplying the labour market with distinguished cadres." He congratulated the graduates for their outstanding academic achievements, citing the skills they have acquired during their studies, and urged them to exert more efforts so as to contribute towards the development process in the U.A.E.

The event was attended by Sheikh Saif bin Hamad bin Saif bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Free Zone in Fujairah, Eng. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Director of the Department of E-government in Fujairah, a number of Sheikhs, senior officials and administrative and teaching staff.
